According to the FTC, joined by the Utah and Nevada Attorneys General, Lens.com, owner Cary Samourkachian and Speed Commerce LLC allegedly advertised low contact lens prices and then added mandatory "Taxes & fees" charges. The complaint alleges these fees often doubled advertised prices, costing consumers hundreds of millions of dollars.
